Lumedyne is location lighting and portable professional flash equipment.
We offer Cyclers and the X to power other brands of flashes. And, we have a modular flash system that has a proven track record of being a highly reliable source of light for professional photographers for over 45 years.
To build a full flash system, you wil need a Power Pack, a Flash Head, a Battery and a Charger. Some added cables and accessories might be a great addition and you need to trigger the system with a radio or light slave or a sync cord.
We have photographers on staff to answer your questions, so give us a call and let us help you create your own perfect lighting solution for on location.
This Power Base will power an Extra Fast recycling Lumedyne system from any AC wall outlet worldwide. It has an interchangeable AC power cord and you select that at purchase, but the default is the American cable as the XACU.
This AC Power Base also charges a NiCd or NiMh Battery with a Hyper Speed Battery Charger built inside of it with a short DC charge cable that can be mostly hidden inside the body of the power supply when not in use.
The ATTE goes into a Flash Head where the Flashtube normally goes and adds about an inch to the position of the Flashtube from the face of the Head.
This is generally preferred when you need a different coverage from a custom reflector than the tube provides from it's normal location.
This coiled extension cord for the Lumedyne Heads is about 3 feet long before you start to stretch it and can easily stretch to about 7 feet. It has the silver round Head plugs at each end; one male for the Pack end and one female for the Head end.
This is a direct Head Cord for the Signature Heads and an extension cord for the other Heads that have a cord already.
This is the normal replacement bulb for the glowing modeling light in the center of the Lumedyne Modeling style Flashtubes. It is about 25 watts bright and does use your battery at a rate of one 200ws flash per 20 seconds of modeling light use.
It is user replaceable by simply first removing the flashtube then pulling the burned out bulb straight out. After carefully replacing the AMBR into its legs, the flashtube fits around it and plugs back into place.
This is the high performance replacement bulb for the glowing modeling light in the center of the Lumedyne Modeling style Flashtubes. It is about 25 watts but is almost 50% brighter than a normal Halogen bulb. So for the same drain as our other AMBR bulb this one is a bit brighter. It does also use your battery at a rate of one 200ws flash per 20 seconds of modeling light use.
This AMBX bulb is also more durable against high temperature for extended use or high power flashes or rapid flashes where in all cases more than the normal heat is involved and a normal bulb would frost over white and fail due to overheating.
