AFSE 800ws Flashtube for Standard non-modeling Flash Heads

AFSE Flashtubes fit all of the standard Flash Heads such as the Classic #001 and #002 Heads that had no modeling light feature. They also fit the new Extra Small Basic Heads HSBC. The Flashtubes push/pull straight in/out and they will last for tens of thousands of flashes or one face down fall onto a hard surface. Any of the Heads that have a modeling light would use the AFTE instead of this one.

The AFSE is the normal flashtube for any of the Heads that Lumedyne has ever offered that do not have a modeling light feature. It casts a 50 degree coverage with the reflector normal and 70 degrees back in the wide angle setting. Because this is a little bit more narrow than the modeling style bulb it is also slightly brighter by about 1/3 f-stop.

This is an 800ws rated flashtube so when you plug this into your Head, then you can comfortably shoot from 3ws to 800ws.

If you need to flash more than 800ws through one Head, then you need the 2400ws Quartz Standard Flashtube AFSQ.

This will not fit into any of the Heads that have a modeling light due to the legs and bulb that would not go into this flashtube.
