Lumedyne is location lighting and portable professional flash equipment.
We offer Cyclers and the X to power other brands of flashes. And, we have a modular flash system that has a proven track record of being a highly reliable source of light for professional photographers for over 45 years.
To build a full flash system, you wil need a Power Pack, a Flash Head, a Battery and a Charger. Some added cables and accessories might be a great addition and you need to trigger the system with a radio or light slave or a sync cord.
We have photographers on staff to answer your questions, so give us a call and let us help you create your own perfect lighting solution for on location.

The AR5K is the normal size as we have used for all of these years which is five inches across. This reflector is black on the outside with a shiny silver finish inside. The kit includes a grid to keep the angle limited to about 40 degrees. A simple plastic diffuser cover is also included.
The BXLG Extra Large sized Battery provides 600 flashes at 200ws with a 100 month pro-rate warranty. It uses six decks of of our no memory NiCd battery cells and is just under six inches tall and weighs in at a little under seven pounds. This is the monster battery. This battery has the added connectors needed for the Extra Fast High Speed Module.
The Extra Small Modeling Head is the smallest and least expensive Flash Head with a modeling light. It has high quality circuits and the same modeling flashtubes and modeling bulb, just in a smaller molded enclosure. The HSML is electronically the same as the larger heads except for the lack of the household sync connector.
This is an awesome Head for on a camera bracket or boom arm since it is so small and lightweight. If you wanted to use it on a light stand, it has twin 1/4-20 mounts for the stand and an accessory of your choice.
This Head includes a grid and diffusor set with the reflector, a Modeling Bulb (AMBR) and 800ws Modeling Flashtube (AFTE).
The small ARSG Snoot fits over the Lumedyne flashtubes where the reflector normally mounts and tightens into place like any other reflector. It has a narrow opening for the light to escape at the open end. In addition to this limited field of view, the beam of light can be further limited and controlled with the small grid that fits the end of the snoot.
The HSMQ is the smallest 2400ws Flash Head with a modeling light in the whole world! It's not crazy expensive for what you get in this tiny Flash Head. It has the same high quality circuits and flashtubes and modeling bulb as the more expensive Heads, just in a smaller molded enclosure. The HSML is electronically the same as the larger heads except for the lack of the household sync connector.

The ARST is the normal two position Reflector that we include with most all of our Flash Heads when new. It has a hammer dimple finish on a parabolic shape that is award winning in its design in relationship to the flashtube. When it is sitting in the forward position it is normal coverage and when it drops back into the two notches, it broadcasts a wider angle.
The ARWD is a silver five inch reflector and it has a shorter neck than the Standard one. That's why it sets further back from the flashtube and broadcasts a wider angle of coverage. This creates a wider broadcast of light within a one f-stop range with the first setting at a wide 80 degrees.
In the first setting it is about as wide as the wider setting of the normal reflector but then it goes to extra wide 95 degrees coverage when it drops back into its dual notches.
This square softbox speed ring is made of plastic and surrounds a machined aluminum center neck that replaces the Lumedyne reflector so the flashtube is well inside the back of the softbox.
It has a 1/4-20 threaded mount to use directly on the lightstand or with a swivel so even large square and rectangular softboxes can be used. The Flash Head is hanging onto the rear at the reflector mount but without any leverage or weight on it.
