I have been using his for over a year now.  While I do not need many flashes, plugging in has become a problem (i only had a AC base).  Strobes can trip the new arc-fault circuit breakers, and running extensions is always another problem.

This battery holds it charge, even for a year.  The job I need it for requires about 10-15 full power pops (400ws).  After one year and 4 jobs requiring the battery, it was still fully charged.  With other type batteries they would self discharged after a few weeks, which meant if a job came up asap (like can you be there in 1 hour) the battery would be depleted (i sold them for that reason).  This one is reliable and well worth the investment.  Also, if you are traveling, it is much lighter than traditional batteries per stored energy.
